Schmoozing for the evening over and done with and it is only 9pm. We were going to go out but there was a quick change of plan and tomorrow night is now designated as going out night! Wasn't going to go out tonight anyway as I am now covered in wee and was too tired, yes I know boring but I need my beauty sleep.
On the whole not been the greatest last few days... We are all generally tired and a bit de-motivated, our Assistant Manager is not that popular with us for many reasons which it is probably not best to go into on a public site! We have a full moon here tonight so don't know if that has anything to do with the moon. Managed to get down to the beach today with Jody and Claire unfortunately the tide was in so no sun bathing, not that we had any time to sunbathe, and also the waves were just a bit too rough.
The morning was spent tree trimming. Three of us went out and Sarah and I (both scared of heights) managed to climb the ladder and chop off branches with a machete. We trim trees that are near the power lines to stop the monkeys getting themselves electrocuted. Tom was extremely brave going up double ladder length whereas we only went up single ladder length. Was funny whilst we were out as a Kenyan 'beach boy' came up to us with a wood carving that he wanted to sell, so I started to try and sell him the 'branches/wood' we had cut off the tree for his future carvings - don't think it understood or thought it was very funny. Anyway we got covered in scratches etc but was enjoyable and we felt that we had definetely made a difference. Back to for lunch a bit more painting, laminating etc.
Then this evening schmoozing with people having a couple of beers and forgetting to have any dinner so I am now tucking into some pop corn that I brought in the Supermarket. Also have little one on my lap again, done a wee down my top. She is so tired bless her. Will def get some more pictures posted up of her.
Have to change my flights tomorrow otherwise I am so going to be coming back on Monday!!!!
